#Salvador Dali#tarot#Dali#art

So the black and white photo made me need to make a photoset of the Dali deck. This set is amazing and you should definitely see it in color. (Also, it’s edged in gold leaf and it’s just fucking fabulous, ok?)

Fun facts: I got this deck at a Ren Faire in 7th grade and spent absolutely all of my saved money on it. I had been debating getting a shirt there and had left my mom a message asking her if she thought I should. I forgot all about the shirt when I found the deck and was hemming and hawing over it (out of print and it was the last one they had) when my mom called me back and said she thought I should get it. (She meant the shirt, I interpreted as the deck.) 

I did not part with that fucker. For about a month I carried it around with me in its velvet inscense-scented bag and slept with it under my pillow. Now you know.
