Makeup Tips You NEED to Know!
5 Different Ways to Apply Blush - by GossMakeupArtist
—————————————————-
Method 1: HIGH ON THE CHEEK BONES
GOOD FOR:
Round faces, and those wanting to give the illusion that your cheeks bones are higher than they really are.
NOT SO GOOD FOR:
Very Defined cheek bones as it can make the face appear too narrow.
Method 2: APPLE OF THE CHEEKS
GOOD FOR:Thin faces, and those wanting to increase volume in the face.
NOT SO GOOD FOR:
Very found faces, and it can make the face look rounder. Also, those will fine lines or wrinkles as smiling causes the face to “line” and can make blusher (powder) go into the fine lines. Blusher to the apples of the cheeks is a technique known in film and theatre to “age” a person.
Method 3: HORIZONTAL LINES
GOOD FOR:
Thin faces wanting to increase volume in the face. Also good for those with tanned skin.
NOT SO GOOD FOR:
Those with very pronounced cheek bones.
Method 4: CHEEK BONES & TEMPLES
GOOD FOR:
Lifting the face and giving the illusion of higher cheek bones. My favourite way of applying blush. Great with a fake or real tan.
NOT SO GOOD FOR:
Very defined cheek bones as it can over “thin” the face.
Method 5: VERTICAL BLUSH
GOOD FOR:
Widening a thin face. Great for a natural flushed appearance.
NOT SO GOOD FOR:
Overly round faces as it can make the face appear rounder.
At the end of the day, play around, see what looks best. See what looks prettiest. And have fun. It’s only makeup :)**Text taken from GossMakeupArtist

This needs to be me every day.
I have such deep, deep love for this aesthetic, and all it is referencing.
It reminds me of my tremulous desire to be a dapper Robert Smith.
And dear god something in me just loves the pairing of asskicking boots with an otherwise perfectly appointed outfit.
